English Nine Stem Lists

Because the English language is a mixed breed, many of its stems come from Greek, Latin, and other languages.  By learning these stems, you can increase your ability to unlock the meaning of unfamiliar words.  Our class goal is to complete five lists of words each semester.  To access the stem lists, click on the links below.
